This week I was able to finish my characters naked pose, and I was putting this off and dreading the thought of having to sculpt the human form, as I barely understand the basics of drawing it, but it went so much better than expected and I actually had a lot of fun doing it. Being able to view the form in a 3d space just makes a lot more sense to me then drawing, and I was finally able to use my Figure drawing book which i recently purchased. I just sat sculpting with the book on my lap defining the key muscle areas to the best of my ability and although I can see that certain proportions are off I've learnt so much from this exercise and I will definitely be using this program to further my understanding of the human form.I've experimented with panel loops and clothing, which I'm kicking myself about as clothing seems harder to sculpt then the human form and I've got so much to model which I thought was going to help but it has started to slow me down, I'm worried I won't meet the deadline.

with the added padding of the jumper my character looks far to muscular, I focused on defining the muscles too much that I ended up making my character have a much stronger build then I expected to, so I went back to his naked form and altered him accordingly. I feel that my character is a little too boring so I added some a symmetry to the jumper with one sleeve rolled up to try and force some more interesting shapes, also the concept of the rolled up trousers wasn't really working visually so I reverted back to my mood board and found an image which had the characters trousers tucked into socks and I decided this worked a lot more with the design.
