This was the last week of the project before the hand in and unfortunately I spent too much time in zbrush trying to perfect my model that I haven't been able to meet the deadline, but I'm viewing this in a different way. It sucks that I'm going to be capped for this but I'm going to continue to finalise this character to the best of my ability as I'm learning so much, I'm not going to beat myself up over it and just learn all I can. I went back and created a character orthorgraphic to creat symmetry again with the jumper with both sleeves rolled up to make the unwrapping and texture process a little more bearable.

This week I was able to retopologise my character into a working low poly model and unwrap it, all the of this was essentially done with the click of a button, zbrush is a powerful tool and I will be using it within my work flow for retopology and unwrapping from now on. I was also able to create a poly paint of my character to get the general feel of my textures, it felt amazing to paint directly onto a model instead of uv islands in Photoshop, constantly checking in a renderer to make sure it looks right. I'm really proud with what I did with the facial skin texture.
