I was able to finish my character this week, I created my base diffuse and normal maps using substance designer using my poly paint as reference and altered them further using Photoshop. I feel my textures are the best I've created yet, and all though I find it hard to keep a consistent level of time management, I can see a progressive increase in the quality of my work.

I also altered my character to fit the initial concept of my character, he now has an edge to his jumper which acts as a stopper to keep the eye from dropping down the character, and allows more time spent focusing on the detail heavy torso. The Floatation device on the chest has also been bulked out a bit to make the functionality of it a little more believable.






Luckily I've finished my character because we've started a new group project, where we have the creative freedom without the restrictions of a triangle count to reimaging a shake spearing set piece, my group has decided on the creation of Macbeths castle, so this week has been spent on gathering mood boards.
